In memory of your face

Your fierce determination

The competitor in life’s race

You may not have won the final one.

But we come here to recall.

Our precious Dragon Flowers

We loved you one and all.

Memories seep from our eyes

And not just on this day

We carry you in daily lives.

In many other ways

We remember the tenacity, the strength.

The love, the fun

We stand as paddling sisters for each and every one.

The flower floats away as you did

Its beauty rides the waves.

Gone from our sight, but forever in our hearts.

Forever all our days

Float free our precious Dragon Flowers

And know we do not just leave you here.
